13th and 15th.

Third semester is almost over, this week's the last week of our 3rd semester before we proceed to Year 2. How time really flies eh? Pfft.

Life's good in the third semester. Hanging out with friends and not forgetting with Bie as well. Learned how to play pool, enjoying the bowling games which makes me lose my voice every time after a game. ;p To the mamak stalls for Milo Ais, Teh O Ais Limau and Murtabak Ayam. Learned how to eat Nasi Kandar. Badminton and gym sessions. Chor Dai Di sessions in the lecture hall. ;p

Still, there is always the ugly side. Having meetings till night falls. One of the subjects (Electronic Publishing) is hard to cope because I can never focus in the lecture since the lecturer mumbles to himself all the time. His tutorials are.. well, better but still, can barely understand anything. Worse still, the exam timetable is only out today and the exam week starts on the 12th. As if news aren't bad enough, the EP exam is on the 13th and the Psychology paper is on the 15th. I've only got a week to catch up with 6 chapters for each subject. Just hoping that my CGPA doesn't drop for this semester. Le sigh.

On a more random note, today's still a good day. I've helped a lot of people to submit the car sticker forms without having to queue up properly. Talk about being small-sized. :p It feels really good to be able to help people. :D Gonna get my new car sticker on the 19th/20th April for my 2010/2011 session. No need to park outside teeheee.

Time to end this post. Bless those who're taking the papers early too. Good luck and may you pass the papers with flying colours. ;p

So, I've Been Busy.

With this..

this is our banner by the way. :D

See that? Charity Campaign yo! :D So don't blame me for not updating. Because of this, there has been many things going on and really, I'm getting tired. Then again, it will all end soon. Real soon.

On another note, he has gotten his haircut. Almost punked. *O*

Then again, still look cute la. :D So don't worry so much about your hair. It'll grow, eventually. ;p

College.

Went for Mass Call yesterday in TARC. Met up with WX at 10ish at Wangsa Maju's station. My orientation started at 10.30 a.m. and WX's one was at 2.30 p.m. but he still fetched me to college first. :D Thanks hunn. <3
Yen Yee. :D
Met a new friend named Hui Boon who sat next to me and who apparently will be taking the same course as mine too. :D
This morning, they had the briefing separately about all the courses taken. Met up with WX and MT first in the morning and saw Chun Kit with Zhee Ann together. :D Waited for Hui Boon and proceeded to the hall together with a few other new friends ; Kah Hui, Jia Wen, Hui Wen, Shi Shi, Joey and Daphne. Chose the course committee and everything ended at 11.30 a.m.
While waiting for WX and MT to finish their briefings, met up with Yen Yee and Terence again. Proceeded to Canteen 1 and met Yi Theng there. Saw Chee Wei and surprisingly, Chee Wei knows Marilyn. xD Saw other friends of mine like Chan Wee and Chun Hoe there too. :D
Yen Yee and I in Canteen 1.
Went to Canteen 2 to meet up with Yao Bang and CK after that. Stupid YB and his nonsense as usual. xD Met WX and MT there later on. Saw Chang and Qi Jun. Woosh. There were so many people that I met today. :D
Out of TARC after that with CK, WX and MT. WX drove CK to the Taman Melati's station and then proceeded to lunch and to BSN. Stupid BSN worker was a dumbass and thus, no PTPTN Pin Number for today. :(
Took Digi's salary at the Setapak's office together and fetched MT back to TARC to get his car. WX later said he needed to rush home to get some stuff and I waited in the car. While waiting..
Take photo lah. So many pics taken and only this was the nicest one. Camwhore skills are totally gone. T__T
He came back into the car with a bear, a pair of earrings and necklace in the box. :D I was so touched that time. x] He's the first guy who gave me a bear and accessories as presents by the way. :)
Ini boyfriend aku yang amat baik walaupun bad-tempered just like me. But still, he's mine so hands off lah okay. :D

WX drove me all the way back to my house from Setapak. Even more touched. >.<
Us. My hunn and the bear given by him. :D

Before going down from the car.

Said bye to him and left him. Was worried about him being lost at my area and it's raining quite heavily that time. :(
Me and the bear. :D
Thanks for the accompany friends. :D Last but not least, thanks hunn for being my driver today. <3

I Never Knew.

It's the last day of school for the fifth formers - of course, this excludes the SPM days. Back then when I was in Primary 6, I didn't have this melancholy feeling in me. All I ever remembered was that we are all going to be juniors in high school, no more being prefects, time to break the rules after obeying them for so long and things like that. And then, I asked myself if I would ever be able to survive in SMKSBU.

Today, I've proven myself that I managed to survive all the ups and downs in high school. All the unnecessary drama and hilarious moments are going to be memories. Memories that will bring me all the way back to high school someday. It is then I realised what does it really feel like to be parting away from the friends you've known for 5 years and I am thankful for keeping the friends I've spent 11 years with.

Salam Restu was held today. Just like in form 3, except this time, I know it will not repeat again. As usual, we asked for forgiveness and blessings from the teachers. No cryings, nothing. Not till I hugged my friends. Bev, I blame you. ); I've grown up with these people for this long and we're all going to move on with our own lives after SPM.

School's been the place that brought us together all this while. It is not just a typical building with badly-ventilated classes. It's a place where I have various experiences and lessons learnt, somewhere which I have spent a quarter of my life there or more likely, my second home. One thing I'm sure of is that I do not have any regret after leaving this school because I have managed to get what I've wanted.

Not because of getting top three in the inter-class choral speaking team. Not because I said I would join cheer when I was in primary school and I did. Not because I was being ambitious to be part of UBS and I succeeded. Not because of the straight As obtained during PMR. Not because I was determined to want the main character in the drama team and I've gotten it.

But it's the people I've met and the good ol' times we had together. After all, the journey is what matter most, not the outcome. Goodbye SBU. (:

So what if there are only 4 days to go?

Cocuriculum Award Day.

No pictures. Only words. So please leave the page if you think you do not wish to read. (:

The honoured guest was a Malaysian astronaut. No, not Dr. Sheikh M. but another one whom if I'm not mistaken, his name is Dr. Faiz. I don't know but anyhoos, he was the one who gave the empty scrolls to the Fifth formers ONLY. There, in your face.

Then again, I am not a fan of him and so.. who cares? ;p There were performances from Shirtliff, Mei Li, form 2s, some drama from the students and VI's band. So you've heard that they're really good and all but if you were not there to witness it, it's a waste. VI's band is something that you will always look forward to no matter how many times they've played the instruments. Or maybe it's just me. Reminded Aileen and I back to primary school when we had our brass band. Those were the days.

Mei Li's performance definitely wowed everyone. She's a national gymnast. I bet the guys had their jaws dropped from the start till the end teehee. As for Shirtliff's performance, it's good as well though it's not the real routine as there were only 9 people involved. No, I didn't perform because I am involved in taking the cert. :D The form 2s too had the courage to go up the stage and sing and I must say that they're quite good. Eh, come on la. Form 2s tau. The drama team, I have no idea what exactly happened there because I was too busy meddling with Ee Lin's guitar. ;D

And to Mei Li,

Congrats again on your outstanding achievement in Cocuriculum! Tokoh Kokurikulum of the Year. ;D

Both pointers of mine are in pain. ); But I still want a guitar. :D

S Is Back.

And so, holidays were over. School's back. Hello SBU.

It's so weird that in another month's time, no more listening to boring assemblies. I somehow think I will miss it in a way. But today, it's just a waste of time to go to school because we practically stoned there the whole day. Some were even sleeping for a few periods and some were just chattering away like yours truly. ;p

Tomorrow's going to be another boring day because there will be rehearsals for Wednesday's Hari Anugerah Kokurikulum. And after all the hardwork and time sacrificed, I'm finally getting the cert. (:

.. And apparently SPM is just in another 4 weeks time. :'D Is anybody ready for it?

Because I'm not, that's for sure.

DOI.

Just got home from Disney on Ice ; High School Musical not too long ago. Kudos to The Star for sponsoring the top 5 teams who've won in the Cheer 08. Each school got 20 tix yo. No joke. ;D

It's well-cheorographed and the lightings were excellent but I guess I wasn't in the mood at that time. Gah, whatever it is, just screw it. -___-

Anyway, today's our form 5 UBS farewell party. After being part of the committee members all the while, I can't believe we were the one being celebrated instead of celebrating the farewell. Okay, I freaking teared because of UBS. Tell me how rare do I exactly cry these days? This had proven how much UBS really meant to me. But now, it's a whole new board and I truly hope UBS will always be the best school club. :)

Before the farewell, Huey Shan, Mazuin and I went to the library. At the table, there was a piece of information regarding an idiom and it says this, " every ass loves to hear himself bray. " And so, Huey Shan being the weird one as usual wanted me to improvise on it.

And me being the stupid smart one decided to change the idiom and now, it goes like this..

Every butt loves to hear himself fart. :)

Creative, I know. ;D It's a philosophy from Pui Ying. Don't play play. xD Okay goodbye.

Click Huey Shan at the exit to continue reading.

We're currently blogging ..

.. is 9.20 a.m.

The both of us are sitting ..

.. doing our E-Homework while ..

.. Correction woman, it's WERE. xD

.. teacher came in and said this ..

Now, don't you just love this post? :) Enjoy. ;D

Laziness Strikes Again.

It's been so busy these few days. Or maybe, I'm just lazy to update. Catching up with school work is so tough that once in a while, I ended up giving in to all the homeworks and would rather get scoldings from teachers.

But.. you see. I'm sucha good student that teachers hardly scold me. Today's exceptional though. I was late for my EST class for 10 minutes and ended up joining the others standing behind the class. This is my very first time experiencing such thing. *O* Stood for almost half an hour and then she allowed us sit down and do our EST work. On the floor. How interesting. Reminded me of the No Desk Awareness Day. ;p

Another random fact of myself. I tend to be sleepy whenever I'm doing homeworks. Goodness, this is bad. How am I going to do my revision when trials is on 11th Sept?

I will study. I shall study. I need to study. I HAVE TO study.

Shirtliff's performing at the Big Walk tomorrow. Who's going? ;D

Final Parents-Teacher Day.

It was supposed to be yesterday's post but because my mom was hogging over this computer and so yeah, I couldn't post about it. Well, I'm a good student. Teacher didn't say anything about the attitude. Tee-hee. Therefore, I'm safe!

Yes, you heard me. I. Am. Safe. From. Being. Scolded. :D Nothing much exactly happened yesterday besides the fact that : -

` Nethiya's 3-year-old brother went to school ; and he did not object when I wanted to carry him! In your face Hon Weng, right in your face. ;p

` Dad arrived an hour later than the time that he stated. -___-

` Nethiya and I camwhored a little with Hon Weng's Mr Bean's Teddy. xD

` The teacher had nothing to say to my dad when he asked if there's anything to say about me. ;D

Yeaps, and so.. Goodbye Parents-Teacher day forever.. and ever.. and ever.

Because you made me smile.

I think know I'm in love.

Today is the total opposite of yesterday.

The BM teacher actually asked me and Huey Shan if we want to join some writing competition held by What's-The-Name-Again and the first prize is Chevrolet A.. something something. The English teacher who seems to dislike me for missing her classes pretty much and hardly does her work actually praised me and Huey Shan for the essays written and asked if we ever considered joining some Short Story Writing Competition. Tee-hee.

Apparently I have finally gotten a B3 for History after getting C5 without fail ever since the first day of Form 4 till the exam before Diagnostics. Well, thanks to the tips I've gotten. Then again, I gotta memorize the textbooks if I want to improve because tips don't come during trials or SPM. Or at least, I believe so.

Moral project is pretty much annoying and the deadline is Thursday, which means everything's gotta be done by tomorrow. I hope I can finish it on time because I can't afford to lose even 2 marks for the punctuality wtf. I sound so kiasu. Nah, I just don't want to get complaints from my teachers during Parents' Day. :)

Okay, I am back to The-Only-Subject-That-Turns-Students-Into-Hipocrites my Moral project.

Back to Basics.

Math was today. It's amazing how frustrating it was. You don't want to know. I enjoy doing math, usually. Today's an exceptional case because I didn't want to continue doing it at all. I got a headache doing the papers and gah, I can't imagine what will happen to me in the upcoming papers.
Why are they being so cruel towards the trees? One to two questions per page. Doesn't the government learn what's the meaning of conserving the nature? Wait till there are no more trees for them to be cut down. No more fresh air to breathe in. Just wait.
Moral paper's tomorrow and we're left with another 2 weeks of exams. I can't wait to go back to Tanjung Puteri again, the perfect option to relax after 3 weeks of exams. :)

English can wait.

Because today's the Program Peringkat Kebangsaan ' PRS Hebat, Rakan Hormat ', the ones involved didn't have to take the English exams and yes, I'm one of the involved ones. ;p Was practically with the PRS from all over the country for the whole day. I missed them already. But anyhoos, the ones who came to our school are all Form 4s. The whole programme was a success and Pn. Song was quite happy with us. ;D Another experience that I will never forget. Pictures will be posted later on. When I finally get my own computer back. Meanwhile, bear with me for having words only for the time being. Thank you very much. :)

Here are some random conversations today. Very very random ones that made me go *O*..

R.C. 1 @ the Pameran Room.

" ... So do you have any questions? I don't mind if you ask us lots of questions you know. "
" Ask her lah, why she keeps having that cheerful look whole day. "
" I have it ke? "
" Yes, so what's your recipe to keep smiling all day? Share your recipe lah. "
" Oh, I went for plastic surgery! "

R.C. 2 @ the Teachers' Restroom.

" ... Okay, what did I miss? "
" You gotta tell us your experience and then pass the pen to someone else. You got to talk about what you think about that somebody whom you've passed the pen to as well. "
" Hm okay. So, who's turn is it? "
" Yours. She just finished talking about you. "
" Oh really?? Repeattttttt. What did you say about me? "
" I really like the way you smile lah. Very sweet. "

R.C. 3 @ the Amphitheatre.

" Did anyone tell you that you look like Doraemon? "
" Uh.. No. Who said that? "
" Me. So I'm the first to say that! *chuckles* "
" Oh. Yeah, and thanks for making my life miserable for the rest of the day. "
" *Laughs* I can be Nobita. "
" Why not you be Sizuka instead? *chuckles* "

me.
PRS participants [note : 3 different participants].
huey shan.

.. and so, that's the end of the post. Can't say much without the pictures. Do excuse me for I will need to study for my Maths soon because the papers' are tomorrow. Exams should be burnt in hell.

Cyberthon.

Due to the excessive number of outdated computers in school, they've decided to have marathon jogathon cyberthon to collect funds so that computers can be upgraded.

Well, as I'm already in Form 5, I really didn't bother to collect or donate a single cent to the school at first but since I'm too good to be cruel, I donated RM20 which I asked from my dad yesterday morning and handed the card along with the money later on when I went to school. Good, no? ;p Hey, I know it's not a big sum of money but at least, I still donated some money alright. Pfft. x]

Anyhoos, back to Cyberthon. Woke up at 6.20 this morning and luckily the road is friggin' clear. Therefore, I reached school early. ;D Texted Shin Ee to ask where she was. She's late nyahaha. xD Students were entertained by the very first band of the day. Last Minutes by Bryant, Faris, Desmond, Yew Jin and Arnold. They were surprisingly good. Trust me, they were. Except that the fact Arnold kept looking at the floor instead of the audience. Stage fright I assume but hey, everyone's got their first time. ;) They sang Umbrella, Won't Go Home Without You and I Don't Love You.

The form 4 band was up next but unfortunately, they weren't that good. I didn't know what songs were they singing but they did look like they had fun. I think that was their first time too though. After the band performances, everyone went for recess. Shin Ee and I went up to the LK room later on cause she needed to do her LK work and therefore, I fell asleep there. xD Woke up at 10.45 a.m. by Shin Ee and went to the ladies. Was right in time for the school's band's performance which has Vi-Jean, Amirah, Arope, Izuan and Joshua. They improved a lot honestly. Especially Izuan with his drumming skills. The beat was steady and consistent compared to the previous performance they had.

Later on, students were allowed to go for the involved booths. Shin Ee and I went to the one for body check-up. Paid 22 bucks to check what's my blood type because my parents didn't know what blood type I have and the result was O positive. Universal donor but dammit, not universal receiver. But anyhoos, it's rare okay. ;D Checked my blood pressure and apparently, it's 111 ; 62 ; 83. 111 was my blood pressure, 83 was the pulse and 62's got something to do with the heart and blood circulation. Apparently, the one with 62 is considered low and it's sort of related to low blood pressure according to my parents. Got nagged for that but whatever lah. Glucose and cholestrol level are perfectly normal and the BMI shows that I'm normal too. ;D But I shall start trying to lose fats but there's too much good food in Malaysia.

After that, they had some lucky draw session season 2. xD Everyone was allowed to go home at 12.30 p.m. and so, I went home to take my bath and went out again at 1ish for tuition. After that, went to aunt's place and went out for dinner with her and family at Pandan Indah for Bak Kut Teh. TELL ME HOW TO LOSE FATS AGAIN WHEN THERE'S YUMMILICIOUS FOOD! T____T Oh well, am finally home for good because being out the whole day is tiring. I am feeling very sleepy already.

I'm turning into a pig because I'm feeling tired at a very early time. *O*

Time is Running.

Ever since I'm part of the drama crew, the whole week is nothing but drama. Like what the teacher-in-charge said..

Eat drama,
Drink drama,

Sleep drama.

But no, we even have to dump classes for drama. Good gracious, my homework is already as high as Mount Kinabalu by now. I hope the teachers would understand the current situation and not ask me about the homeworks but unfortunately, the chances are 1 over 1000 percent. Pfft.

Competition's on tuesday and I'm already panicking for it. I still need to cry on the spot and I hope the resolution is going to work. If only there isn't a crying scene dammit. My stupid tear glands are dead and now, how much I wish I can poke my eyes. -.-

Alright, I was kidding about the poking eyes part because that would be ouch and I do not wish to be blind. Tomorrow's going to be our very last practise before the competition. Therefore, goodbye classes again. );

Friday, April 4, 2008

Exhaustion.

A whole week of not being in class when I actually went to school is sucky. Before recess, we all need to do the props and after recess, practised till 4 p.m. It better pay off. -.-

Huey Shan, I agree with you. If we could take all the awards like Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Script and Champion/ Top 3. We would be at the top of the world already. ;D Then again, I know we have the chance to get all those with extra effort and luck. :) Will be going back to school for the practice session tomorrow.

My eyes are very heavy at such an early time and yet, I just do not wish to sleep early. Don't ask why. I am this tired and honestly, I didn't know drama would be such an exhausting activity. Oh well, at least I enjoyed it. :)

Competition is in a few days time which means I have only 2 days to actually brush up on my lines and expressions. T_______T

How do you cry on the spot?

When you hear and see weird stuff.

Because yesterday's a holiday for the SBUians, there wasn't any long assemblies whereby you gotta sing 4 songs, listen to public speakers and also to the headmistress who says "mempastikan" instead of "memastikan" and her " syabas, tahniah diucapkan. "

Yes, I listen to every single speech of hers just in case she happens to mention my name about skipping classes or not finishing the homework given by the teachers although the chances of her mentioning about me doing things like that is 0 because I'm a good kid. I do not skip classes, I finish my homework on time, I do not procrastinate, I obey every single rule whenever I'm in school and I help the teachers to carry books.

..
..
..
..

Nah, just kidding. I'm the vice versa of every single thing mentioned above. Please, it's time to realise that this is Ms. Chan you're talking about and NOT Ms. Goody-Six-Shoes. Even Ms. Goody-Two-Shoes would procrastinate once in a while. ;p Honestly, you can hardly do anything at all when the assembly is being carried out besides keeping quiet to listen to announcements, off-key singings and not forgetting, boring speeches.

I still feel very traumatized and disturbed since this morning. I went to the ladies alone today and the whole toilet was empty. Well, except for one cubicle which was occupied. At first, I thought it was you know, maybe another girl's just emptying her bladder but no, I was wrong. When I went out of the cubicle I used, I heard giggles and voices. I freaked out a little 'cause I thought who would be crazy enough to giggle alone while doing their own business.

I was wrong again. After I washed my hands and looked into the mirror, I saw the cubicle's door was opened, a girl ran out of it and the door's shut again. That was the time when I saw somebody else's legs there. I don't know if there were 2 or 3 girls in it but what's weird is the girls were in the same cubicle wtf. Very, very disturbing indeed. According to Audrey, she once saw that kinda incident as well last year.

..And there's a 50% chance that they're the same girls we saw. I shall now let your minds wander off a little.

And Huey Shan too, said something very funny.

" Eh, why period come ar? "
* Looked at her and blinked my eyes *
" Period comes when the ovaries burst right? "
* Being ultimate speechless and blinked my eyes again *
" Er Huey Shan, ovaries are the organs that produce ovums. "
" Oh shit oh shit. *laughs* "

..Talk about the weird being herself.. * sighs *

Maclay Fever.

The word Maclay has never meant this much to me before. For the past few years, I've been cheering for this particular house. No, not the usual cheering but what I meant was cheerleading. This year is totally a different case. No more cheerleading house practices that need to be attended, no more cheering in a squad, no more wearing a different costume from everyone else during Sports Day.

And I did not realised that because of cheerleading, I missed the chance of training myself to run for Maclay or at least try passing the shotput which I can never do so for 5 whole years. Yes, I'm a very lousy shotput player. But hey, what makes me happy is I can pass my high jumps every year, or was it just 4 years? Oh well, whatever. ;D

After being a junior for the past 4 years, I didn't know that we, seniors of class '08 will be that busy preparing for our respective sport houses namely Maclay, Prouse, Green, Cooke and Shirtliff. Skipping classes for the sake of doing the decors and souvenirs seem to be a habit not only to me but to everyone else these few days. Yeah, you can see various names on the "Ponteng" book including mine for the whole week. But then, who told you that sacrifices shouldn't be made for our own houses aye? :)

Tomorrow's already my last Annual Sports Day. My last time screaming for Maclay's name in the blue tee even if it's not comfy. 11 years of enjoying this special day is finally coming to an end. Come to think of it, I just noticed that I've never skipped any of my secondary school's Sports Day. But the ones in primary, I think I did skip once. Anyway, those who're interested in coming to SBU's Sports Day tomorrow to watch the marching teams, cheer performance and running, join us starting from 8 a.m. till 1 noon.

Last but not least,

May the best wins.

School on Saturday.

As a replacement for the CNY holidays which falls on 11th February 08, today was indeed a school day.

Now who can tell me, what's the point of having a relaxing Saturday replaced with school when you don't even study the moment you reach school? :) Such a waste. Could have slept later than that but then it's better than stoning in front of the comp again. xD

There's a talk on being an excellent student for 2 hours. Was pretty okay at the beginning but most of the students were starting to get restless when the talk was a little too long. No teacher for History after recess. As for Bio, I don't know. I hope she didn't ask for her AJK or I will be busted. Period. Was in Lambda with Huey Shan, Mei Li, Kevin, Qi Jun, Zejing and Yudesh for 120 minutes. Sigh.

Oh by the way, I've decided to drop Chemistry though I am not too sure if I'm allowed to do so. Can I drop Bio as well? :D
