Maclay Fever.

The word Maclay has never meant this much to me before. For the past few years, I've been cheering for this particular house. No, not the usual cheering but what I meant was cheerleading. This year is totally a different case. No more cheerleading house practices that need to be attended, no more cheering in a squad, no more wearing a different costume from everyone else during Sports Day.

And I did not realised that because of cheerleading, I missed the chance of training myself to run for Maclay or at least try passing the shotput which I can never do so for 5 whole years. Yes, I'm a very lousy shotput player. But hey, what makes me happy is I can pass my high jumps every year, or was it just 4 years? Oh well, whatever. ;D

After being a junior for the past 4 years, I didn't know that we, seniors of class '08 will be that busy preparing for our respective sport houses namely Maclay, Prouse, Green, Cooke and Shirtliff. Skipping classes for the sake of doing the decors and souvenirs seem to be a habit not only to me but to everyone else these few days. Yeah, you can see various names on the "Ponteng" book including mine for the whole week. But then, who told you that sacrifices shouldn't be made for our own houses aye? :)

Tomorrow's already my last Annual Sports Day. My last time screaming for Maclay's name in the blue tee even if it's not comfy. 11 years of enjoying this special day is finally coming to an end. Come to think of it, I just noticed that I've never skipped any of my secondary school's Sports Day. But the ones in primary, I think I did skip once. Anyway, those who're interested in coming to SBU's Sports Day tomorrow to watch the marching teams, cheer performance and running, join us starting from 8 a.m. till 1 noon.

Last but not least,

May the best wins.
