A Review of My 2008.

Each book has its own chapters and no one knows what will come next, not till you're at that page itself. Some have lessons behind each chapter while the others are just minor parts to lengthen the storyline.

Same goes to life ; except that it's a never-ending book.

If you've read my blog for the whole year, I'm pretty sure you know at least 70% of my life. True enough, I have had my I-want-to-leave-and-never-come-back moments but there are always memories that have held me back from doing so. Memories created by people that matter.

At one point of life, I've chosen to walk out instead of staying. Though once in a while, I wished I've never done so but whenever I looked back, I realised that everything's better now. Much better.

At another chapter, I've chosen to hold on instead of letting go. No matter how long I have realised that hopes are not meant for me, I still hoped that miracles would happen. Instead, I had to face disappointments over and over again.

There was also the time when I had to make my own decision, I did not care what the others felt and said. Maybe they have disagreed with me the whole time but I am selfish like that. I rather hurt everyone else but will not give a chance to those who had intentions to hurt me.

You must be thinking now that I'm always that mean but I am not. The incidents happened throughout the year were the ones that really changed me into a different person. I used to care what people think about me but now, I won't even bother what people have to say about me. Like me, stay. Hate me, leave.

As for 2008, I hated you. But if it weren't for another year of challenges, I wouldn't grow up. I wouldn't learn. I wouldn't have the guts to take a step forward and not regret every step that I've made.

Maybe I've changed for the better in one's eyes but for the worse in another's point of view. It is just their perceptions. As for me? I don't know if I like the current changes in me but one thing's for sure, my year has been a restless one. :)

Nevertheless, 2008 would have been different if there were no high school moments, outings, study groups, seminars, tuition friends, tons of embarrassment followed by laughter, emo sessions and random disagreements. Now, let us all move on without forgetting each other, shall we? :)

SBU Reunion.

Woke up at 7 yesterday to prepare myself for the outing and also the Undang test. Gotten a 47 this time a.k.a I PASSED MY UNDANG TEST! Nethiya took on the same day too but she was on of the first 20 people who took it and I was the next 20. So she went home first and her driver picked me up at 11ish. Went to TS together after that. A million thanks to Nethiya for willing to fetch me. ;D

We were the latest to arrive room 49 in Neway while 10 of the other people were already singing EMO songs. Kai Vin and Mei Yean left us quite early and so, there were only 10 left in the room itself. Took pictures with each of them but only posted 9 here since the pictures with Jun Yan was a big failure. xD

Headed to Ampang Superbowl later on for 2 bowling games. All played except for Jun Yan and Zun Zen. First game was horrible, so was the second one. Kai Sein won in both games while I only managed to get second in both games. Hon Weng was frustrated at that time. Nethiya's better in bowling now compared to years ago. Qi Jun lost to Zun Zen. Nethiya went off with Thiban. Wai Kian left at 4.45 pm. Zun Zen and Kah Jun left when Kah Jun's done with his turn. Walked to the washroom and Kai Sein disappeared with Jun Yan.

Feeling superbly hungry, Zewei, Qi Jun, Hon Weng and I went to Old Town to fill our stomachs with food. That was my first meal of the day and it was already 6 pm. xD Went off with Zewei separately from Qi Jun and Hon Weng after that.

All in all, it was a good outing despite a number of them who weren't there. It was better to see old school friends again. (:

I will be retaking my stupid Undang again later. Yes, I freaking failed it for the first time. Gotten a 41. PFFT. I bet some of you guys are already laughing by now. I'm stupid like that so shut up. -____-

Birthday & Farewell.

Exactly a week ago, the gang went out. Everyone was present except for WQ and JR but because the reasons given were acceptable, thus, the forgiveness. As the title above mentioned, it's a combined celebration in advance for Yi Theng's birthday and Kah Hoong's farewell. He's gone to NS today. Too bad he won't be able to read this till.. 3 months later. :x

Pui Yan, let me answer you this. I was late due to the parents who didn't wanna fetch me to Pavilion earlier. I woke up superduper early okay? xD And I arrived earlier than Audrey but waited for her you know. ;p Okay, so we wanted to bring the cake that Audrey bought for the both of them into TGIF but it was a failure as the candle went out right at the entrance. Potong stim habis. x] Ordered our meals yadah yadah and chatted like usual.

Luckily the portion was shared because towards the end of the day, the leftover was still a lot. Yi Theng had to leave at 2 for her work in Jogoya.

Later on, while we were still debating on where to go, we decided to do what we are at best ; Camwhore! We were standing at the performance spot and was asked to move away from the place itself. Saw the dancing angels which wasn't really impressive but in a way, it was somehow entertaining. Took a number of pictures with the human angels. xD

So we finally made the decision to go arcade at S.Wang after dilly-dallying. Terence didn't follow us there cause he was supposed to go home after the lunch to go out with *coughs* family *coughs*. xD

This guy distracted me when I was shooting because he shocked me with his super loud voice at my right ear. T________T

.. and the way this guy held the gun was.. unbelievable. LOL.

And we proceeded to the arcade in TS. For the love of arcade, we walked to different places. xD On the way to TS, saw Abang Khalid aka the Sushi King's manager. Talked for a while and he said I looked different while PYan looked the same. xDD

That pretty much sums up the whole outing. Oh by the way, I saw Ze Wei twice. Once was in Pavilion and another was we were in the same LRT. Hello Jin Gak Lou! xD

And, I know this post is a little too late but it's the thoughts that count right? Therefore..

Good luck to those who just went for NS! As far as I remember, it's only Kah Hoong and Lye Yan in batch 1. Hope they will have a fun time enjoying the once in a lifetime experience. :x

Undang test tomorrow and I'm super nervous. I don't wanna fail but I haven't finished reading the book. Why do I take so long to finish reading the few chapters? T_________T

Gloomy Eve.

This year's eve is different. The mood is not right. In fact, nothing is. I hate the quiet environment. It's not the peaceful one, it's the uneasy shit you go through after fights. I may smile as wide as I can in pictures or laugh as hard as possible in front of people but deep down, does anyone know what's going on with my life? It doesn't matter anyway. People are selfish. They tend to take things for granted and neglect everyone else around them. I don't enjoy the pain I'm going through. I just want a peaceful life. It's not so hard, is it?

SBU-SJI Senior Prom 08.

Yes, I'm finally updating about this. It was held at JW Marriot Hotel. Did my hair and make up with Beverly from 3ish till around 7. Reached Marriot and the first person I saw was YONG JUN KIAT. He was the one who kept saying he won't be there with us and claimed that everyone's been busy thinking about the "magical night". Him and his fantasy. Tsk tsk. Took picture with my table's friends except for the twins and my date.

The food was bad and only 2 performances were good. It was not what I expected but at least I had a fun time with them. And of course, camwhoring is a must. (:
