First Visit to Cathay's Platinum Movie Suites!

So I had my first visit to the Platinum Movie Suite today. Have always seen photos of the place but never really planned to go till today, which was not paid by me by the way. :p

Got kinda shocked when going for a movie is like being treated like a princess. They actually have waiters/waitresses serving you. Oh, a lounge which you can enter an hour earlier while waiting for the movie to start, computers for you to waste your time and even massaging machines, whatever you call it. Awesome.

You can also rent a pillow and blanket at only RM 5 for the whole movie! Though, I suspect they actually turned the air-cond on to full blast so they actually earn from the rentals. -_-

But nevertheless, the sofas were so comfortable you can adjust it according to your own preferences. whether it's lying down flat, 45 degrees, just adjusting the leg rests or whatsoever. It was pretty much awesome.

The lounge, it's only part of it. ;o

Of course, I never knew how much everything costs since someone insisted I shouldn't pay back or to even bother telling me the truth about the price. I thought it would be like.. RM 20? Not till I found out online..

RM 40, per person.

Whhhhhhuttttttttt?! O_O Okay, I stunned kaokao. Trust me, I would really rather spend my money shopping than paying that much for a movie.

But of course lah, need to thank that person for treating me like I'm a lady haha! It's been so long since I've been treated like that. Opening and closing doors for me, waited for me even though arrived early at my place some more asked me to take my time though I'm already prepared earlier and last but not least, for the movie treat too. :D

So here's a photo of me, in case anyone has forgotten how I looked. :p

Round me on the huge comfy sofaaaaaaa!

Thank you again. ;)

Amis.

I'm done with my finals. Didn't do well I guess but hopefully I don't flunk it. Met Yi Hui at Masjid Jamek today. And then Wai Yuen and Philip at Hang Tuah's station. Reminds me of high school again. That made my day. :)

There are more friends of mine who left Malaysia to further their studies. Huey Shan's already in UK. Babe, I'm sorry for not being able to make it to your farewell because of you-know-what but I didn't forget to pray for you to have a safe flight. And God heard my prayers. You're safe and sound in UK now, at the same time, exploring that place. Enjoy aye!

I got to know that Shermaine and Gary have left for London and Russia respectively. I may not be close to them but still, I want to wish them all the best in their future undertakings. :)

***

As corny as it sounds, I still don't like to say goodbye. It sucks, really. I don't like seeing my friends leaving one by one. Even so, I still hope for the best for them. After all, friendship isn't measured by distance. Agree, no?

But sometimes I wonder much. I wonder if our friendship will last. I wonder if I will be forgotten. Memories of all of us are not one of the things that I wish to forget. I don't wish to be forgotten too. So someday if any of you are going to leave and may not be back anymore, I hope you don't forget our memories together.

And to those who're still going to be in Malaysia after years, don't lose touch. Don't say anything hurtful to each other. Think twice before you speak to your friend because you never know what he/she feels when you say something even if it means almost nothing to you. If you wish to take people for granted, think again. What do you gain? Nothing. You will only lose another friendship.

Think with your heart, not just with your head. You never know what you're missing out. I hope everyone who reads this will stop, look back to see what you've done in your life. What would your life be without great companions going through thick and thin with you? Appreciate before it's too late. You never know what happens the next second.

Have a great night. :)

Another New Found Love.

And so, I said I would announce something today.

I never realised that I would fall for you the moment I sense your presence. All the while, I thought it's more than enough just to be happy with what I have now. But no, I was distracted. You drifted my soul away from reality. You were so near yet so far from my life.

After searching up and down just to find for the perfect one, after all the wants and desire, after being heartbroken when I could only see you but not to have you, you're finally mine. I'm thankful for having you with me going through everything now, not forgetting, SPM of course. (:

For that, I want to say I love you despite the fact that you're not as good-looking as the others. ;)

Time To Let Go.

I know I should be happy,
I know I should control my temper,
I know I should put other's priorities before mine,
I know I should not let shits get in my way..

..but I'm not doing so.

And now, I want to be selfish. I am going let my feelings to take control of me. I won't control them anymore. I am so tired of faking a smile every single day. I am so sick of making people happy when I'm not even at the right mood. Therefore, don't bother if I'm going to reply you in a positive or negative way. When you ask why, I won't give you a single reason. When you're annoyed by my replies, don't talk to me then.

***
To A, I want to thank you for listening to me all this while. I guess if it weren't for you, things wouldn't change for me. It feels good to know that at least you've been there for me when I needed it. Now, I will learn how to face the world without you because I know I have to. Eventually, I know I will grow out of it. I will never forget the days where we made fun of each other and listened to what we have to say to each other. Unfortunately, it's time for me to take you out of my memory. I'm sorry but if I don't do so, I will suffer. Just let me be selfish for this one and only time.
To B, it is very nice of you to listen to me when I'm not myself. It's funny how we can be so close after all that had happened. I appreciated it when you allowed me to talk to you though it's past midnight. I thank you for all the advices but I guess that's that. It's not very nice to keep bugging you with my own problems when you have your own things to handle. Therefore, I won't let my problems out to you unnecessarily anymore. But if you ever need to talk to me, I promise I will be there for you no matter how late the night is or how busy I am.
To C, if only you could tell me how you feel right now so that I wouldn't get myself into such conflicts. I do understand that you're busy and the exam is more important than anything else. I wish you could let me talk to you when I needed to do so but no, where the fuck are you everytime I needed help? I'm not angry. I'm just upset. I'm upset when everytime I needed a listener, that person is not you. It would be everyone else but you. If you know this would happen, I rather you not care so much from the start.
To D, thank you for trying to cheer me up and I must say, everytime, it succeeds though it won't last. Well, at least my mood did improve whenever you say something funny. But one thing I must say, you hardly give me any good advices. ;p Then again, I appreciated that you've at least made me laugh. I just hope you don't start saying nonsense and unnecessary things to me. x]
To E, those who have been all the while giving a strong support to me, thank you. But I guess it's time for me to stand on my own though once in a while, I will still need the supports. Being dependent is not a very healthy practise as we all grow up anyway. I shall learn how to be independent instead of relying too much on people.
***
I've got to move on and be who I am.

HFD.

1st August 2008. How can I miss the opportunity to blog on this day? To those who know, you guessed it right. To those who don't, well, read on if you think you want to. ;) You can always skip reading this post since there're no pictures here. ;p

To ' SF 3 [ mei li, huey shan and melissa ],

I've not forgotten, and will not forget the fun we had together. Till today, I would reminisce about the past we've been through. PMR year was one of the best years in high school despite the fact that we were forced to take the exam. Passing notes during Gerak Gempur, sitting behind the class just to hang out and talk our hearts out, eating in class as though we're actually allowed to do so and laughed like PMR's already over. The whole 1 month after PMR was just as much fun as it was before the exam. Going to school just to be together and eventually, the abandoned changing room became our secret hangout place. Those were the days. Though we're not as close as we used to be anymore, I just want to say, I still love the three of you.

To Pui Yan,

We've only known each other in last year's Kursus Peningkatan but now, we're closer than just best friends. To me, you're more to a sister than just friends. Doing crazy things together, having long conversation nights, making funny names for each other, working partners and the list goes on and on. It's just funny how we can be so close even though we're from different schools and it's only a year plus since we've known each other. Like what you said, it's fate. If it weren't for the jungle trekking, we wouldn't have talked to each other till today. For all that we've experienced together, thank you and I banyak sayang you, sister.

To Nethiya, Shin Ee and Hazel,

Thanks for being there though this year's the first time we're actually hanging out together. I appreciated it so much when you guys were actually there for me during Cheer 2008. I enjoy laughing with the three of you and at the same time, emo-ing. ;p All in all, you guys made an impact in my life as well. *hugs*

To Beverly, Ying Si, Aileen, Hui Ning, Fatin, Audrey, Charlotte, Aimee, Michelle, Mazuin, Hon Weng, Tarkessh, Shaun, Wai Kian, Skye, Jasmine, Melvin, Niren, Faiz, Thinesh, Louise, Amanda and other SBU friends,

You guys are a wonderful bunch of friends. Without all of you, it's just not the same in SBU. I wouldn't have been able to survive high school without having all these people. Laughing at jokes and sharing opinions on certain problems have become part of my routine. Despite a bunch of unwanted people, I still love this small family of mine. (;

Last but not least..

To SS gang [ Audrey, Yi Theng, Yen Yee, Kah Hoong, Terence, Wai Xiang, Jun Kiat, Wanqing, Cassidy and some other people that I've known through this gang ],

I am lucky to have this gang, no doubt. To me, they're the best group of people from other schools. It's not easy to find a group of crazy homosapiens that can interact with each other so well. What's more, they're not from SBU itself. I am in fact, proud to have this bunch of retards in my life though I don't know what will happen once SPM is over as we will end up separating into different pathways. Then again, I hope this gang will not be separated fully because it will be such a waste to not have them in my life. :)

Though I totally suck in showing gratitude and appreciation through actions, but that doesn't mean all of you are not important in my life. If I've ever hurt anyone of you, I would like to apologise for all the things that I've done. Lastly,

Happy Friendship Day! :)

The Big Wide Smile.

I am insane. Besides the fact that I have been smiling for the past few days, I am also currently smiling to myself like nobody's business.

NO DETAILS WILL BE GIVEN.

..and so, don't bother asking. ;p

Though sometimes temporary happiness might turn out to be a huge disappointment someday, but teehee, I am a happy girl today. That's what matters most right at this moment.

Thank you for everything. (;

HMD.

Mummy dearest,

When I cried on the last day of my kindy because I missed my friends, you were there to give me a hug and told me everything would be fine. When I was too lazy to go to kindy and didn't want to wake up, you did not force me to do so and let me continued sleeping. When I needed help in my homework, you were there to teach me and guide me in my work. When I had to be at backstage to get ready for my performances, you were there to put the make up on for me and took many pictures as memories. When I turned the whole house upside down, you would never scold me and would clean the mess up. That's when I was 4 to 6 years old.

When I had to stayback for my extra curricular activities, you would fetch me back from school even though you were tired. When I wanted to go shopping, you will never hesitate to bring me along. When I received awards, you were there to congratulate me and I know I've made you proud. When I had to stay up to do my homeworks, you stayed up with me and talked to me. When I needed help in my artwork, you would not say no even though you always asked me to do my work on my own. When I didn't act like a girl, you were the one who changed me into someone who wears skirts and dresses. That's when I was standard 1 to 6.

When I was even busier with my extra curricular activities, you advised me to take good care of my own health. When I had to go for my camps, you would call and asked how I was doing and then I would be feeling a little homesick. When I had my straight As again during PMR, you were glad to know about it and awarded me with your new phone even though you wanted the phone yourself. When I was at my heartbroken moment, you were there to cry with me just because you saw how hurt I was. When I was finally myself again, you were concerned about me and never fail to ask how I felt. When you asked about my results and I told you it's unsatisfactory, you finally gave in and allowed me to go for tuitions. That's when I was in form 1 till today.

We're more than just mother-daughter relationship at times. When you were down, I would listen to you. When I had complaints, you would do the same for me. You've taught me uncountable things. Though the time we communicate now is lesser, you are and will always be the mother I love most. Thank you for everything you've done for me.

Happy Mother's Day to you, mum! <3

To every mother out there, Happy Mother's Day too! :)

xoxo.

Happy Moments.

I was once, the kind of girl who can never be contented with what I have. A girl who always thinks she has overprotective parents, annoying siblings, fake friends, stressful life and so on. Pessimistic, no? :)

But drastic changes are starting to interrupt my life, the one I have always wished it would get better someday. Throughout the changes, things seem to worsen but I am thankful. Not because that it's a life nobody wants nor it had moulded me into a different person. In fact, I learned how to appreciate. I learned how to treasure what I have at an early stage before everything's gone. This is my family. I have always thought that my parents don't love me that much and my siblings are a bunch of annoying brats who can never make me feel proud to have them. I remembered when I had to deal with an upsetting moment, my dad hugged me and told me that he loves me. My mom cried just because she saw me crying for someone unworthy. My siblings tried to cheer me up by telling me jokes. But now, the family is on the edge of breaking apart. The one family that I've been spending with throughout these 17 years. The only wish I want now is to have them all back as one because I know I wouldn't be able to take it if the family is broken.
These were my best friends. I am very lucky to have them as part of my life. Whenever I had problems, they were always there for me to tell me everything's going to be alright. Unfortunately, the silly acts from me have hurt them and angered them and finally resulted in losing them. This is the girl I treat her as a sister. If it weren't for a camp, if we didn't start talking to each other, I don't think we would be this close. Sharing secrets, going out, working partners and meeting friends. Laughing together like there's no tomorrow have been something I have been missing ever since school's started.
This bunch of people too, have made a big impact in my current life. The reasons to all the laughter and smiles. If it weren't for them, I guess being a retard alone would be weird.

The word "happy" brings different meanings to every single person. Some might be happy when they hear the funniest jokes told by a friend, some will be at the top of the world when they achieve what they wanted and some are even overjoyed when they are the champion of a particular competition.

Maybe many of you are already wondering by now, what all these have got to do with the title, "Happy Moments". To me, the existence of the people around me has made everyday a happy moment. Enough said.

If I were to be given a chance to turn the time back, I know this time, I will appreciate every moment spent with my loved ones. To everyone out there, I hope you will enjoy every single day of yours be it happy or not because missing out things will be the biggest regret in your entire life.

note : Although the main reason I joined this Happy - Happy Moments competition is to share how I currently feel after all the happenings that came to me one after another and not because of the prizes, but you can always vote for me if you think it's worth the vote. Just click here. Rating is from 1 to 5 where 1 represents bad and 5 represents good. Thanks in advance. :)

i can do business.

I got the highest sales of privilege cards for 3 days straight!!! xD

Anyway, thank you WQ and Terence for spending time with me yesterday or I would have rot in ts, seriously. Went to watch Enchanted with the both of them and they really look like a couple. :x Details shall not be given to protect their identities. :)

Thank you to Jun Kiat as well for sitting near the wall in Kenny Rogers. You see, There was once when I went out with Ying Si and we both sat at the table that was against the glass and a cockroach passed by the both of us. I was bloody freaked out that I jumped outta my place and shouted "Cockroach!!!!!!" Oh trust me, the embarrassment, you wouldn't wanna know. Therefore, I do not want to sit near the wall anymore as it's bloody freaky okay. Oh and Jun Kiat, sorry for eating up all of your rice. xD Next time I buy you a bowl of rice okay? xD

Mei Li came yesterday! But we didn't manage to talk. ;( Well, at least I've seen one of the SFs since the hols had been passing by so quickly. ;D Thanks girl for visiting and sorry for not picking your phone up. Was too busy and the manager was looking. Darn. xD

okay, I gotta sleep now as I will be working in another 12 hours time.

i'm going to miss this tuition.

Not only it's the last day of school today, but it's also the last time we're ever going to be taught by Gibson. Throughout the 3 whole years with him, I've learnt a whole lot of advices as well as the skills in writing. He's a great man, really. Oh, he is also the most easy-going teacher ever! You can talk and laugh as loud as you want in his class and he plays cool. ;) Can't believe I'm actually going to miss his classes. He's not teaching anymore but he shall open prep talk classes once in a while and if he doesn't, Ying Si and I shall make him do so. :D And now, let me reveal to you who the great man is that I've been talking about..
Mr Gibson! Oh, he's got a new born baby boy by the way. Congratulations! ;D
And Michelle wanted a picture with him. Look at the goofiness in her. xD
Ying Si and I cannot stand letting her taking a picture alone with him, therefore, we decided to be in the picture as well. ;p
Ignore the round me. We gotta take a few pictures before we can finally get a nicer picture. Thank goodness. -.-

and since we couldn't get a better picture than the previous one, we tried using her cam and this picture is taken by Michelle. xDThe three girls who always laugh the loudest and the guys can't even beat the loudness. :XHis only students. Ignore the horns and peace signs please. I will miss the fun times. :)

Thanks for every single thing you've taught us and even though we hardly do your work, forgive us yeah. ;D

put a bullet in my head.

Eh eh! I show you guys something..

BUT..

..Before I reveal what I wanna show you guys, let me rant sekejap la okay? Okay.

I am again, absolutely jealous at those who can draw and sketch like some famous artists while me, I'm just too much of a sad case. I cannot draw anymore!! Lost my hard-earned talent which I've once gained from practices and yeah, that was AGES ago. ); Thanks to myself for being a lazy bump who decided to stop art class last year for god-knows-why. Therefore, I wanna try drawing again and pray hard that it better not turn out like some Primary 1 kid's drawing where stick figures represent humans and rats as Mickey Mouse. On the other hand, I still have the ability to paint. *grins proudly*

Teehee. That's the end of the rant. I said I would show you something right? yeah, scroll down and you'll see it. ;D

Yeah! The picture above! Damn cute right? Credits to Artist Liew Kah Hoong! He's extremely good at sketching although he thinks that I look funny here which I quite agree with him because the moment I saw this sketch, I laughed loudly in front of the computer all by myself. xD I asked for the sketch as my birthday present tau and yes, I totally appreciate the effort Kah Hoong. Thanks again. x] By the way Pui Yan, yours look very weirdddddddd and mine is wonderfully done. *laughs madly* xD

I wanna sleep. Nights. :)

kuiz pelancongan.

I procrastinated again and therefore, this post is only up today. Was out of school compound at 8 a.m. to wait for the van and it reached only at 9.30 a.m. The school was all the way in Jalan Ipoh and we were supposed to reach before 10 a.m. What's worse was we couldn't seem to find our way to the school and when we finally found it, we were already late for 35 minutes.

Thank goodness we were given the opportunity to do the quiz. 60 objective questions and I swear, more than half of the paper's answers were chosen blindly. Some pure idiots on the left kept disturbing Charlotte and I but this time, Charlotte flared her temper at them instead of me doing so. Thanks again woman. xD Situation was something like this..

Malay Guy 1 to Charlotte: Eh, Ah moi.. *asks dumb questions*
Charlotte ignored..
M.G. 1 to Charlotte again : Leng lui leng lui.. Ah moi aaa.
Ignored again..
Malay Guy 2 to me : Eh leng lui.. Ah moi..
This time, I ignored..
Charlotte : Can you shut up a?
Both malay guys shut up.
Sbuians were laughing, so were the row of people on the right.
M.G. 2 to M.G. 1 : Eh, soalan ini jawapan apa?
M.G. 1 to M.G. 2 : Can you shut up?
And.. we laughed again. xD

During the quiz, it was complete silence. So you can imagine, my dear kindergarten mate actually said it quite loudly and clearly that the malay guys actually shut up for the rest of the remaining time. You go girl! ;]

Below are the pictures taken while waiting for the van..

my weird best friend ; deskmates.
friends since standard 1.
kindergarten mates.

she got traumatized while waiting for the van.

and suddenly burst out laughing. xD

In the van..

By the way.. Thanks Terence for the mooncakes! :D Didn't expect you to send me some though. x]

i'm no banana. :)
