Next up is the Promtay, which is a prom + party event organised by Maleni, Amanda and some other friends of theirs. It's on 15th of December 2007 and it's RM 70 per person. To any SBU-ians, be a volunteer for the Malaysian Aids Council! It's divided into 2 categories. The first one would be Peer-to-Peer Educator. Individuals who are interested will be trained to speak in public and will be assisting Mr. I-forgot-his-name and go to other schools to give talks, if I'm not mistaken. The second one is doing voluntary work for MAC like giving out pamphlets and wearing sandwich boards. I don't really know much about it but if you're interested, see Hong Kah Mun from 3 Amanah and ask her for more information about it. Huey Shan, Beverly and I will be one of the volunteers. To other monkeys like Aileen and Hui Ning out there, join us k? ;D
To the form 1s and 2s from SBU as well, the Counselling Unit is recruiting new members. So sign up for it if you wanna be part of the unit. Shin Ee and Aileen will be going to your classes next week and you can give your names to them. We're searching for peer-to-peer counsellors to assist other students and don't worry, you'll be sent to 2 different camps to get yourselves trained and prepared so that you can reach out for the others. You may find that other units may have more things to learn currently, but as you go on and stay in this unit till the end of your schooling days, you'll realise that whatever you've learnt in the unit will be useful in the future. To those who are chosen will need to go for the interview. Further notice will be given next week by Pn. Song or Aileen.
I've finally gotten the green light to work during the holidays! Currently waiting for the details from Shin Ee and if it's alright, I will go for it. But if it's not, I will have to start hunting for jobs. Whoever knows where I can find a job, please do inform me okay? Thanks in advance. ;p
Lastly, I will need the permit for a few events, and one of them is to go for tuition. Either to Kasturi or to Subash's classes. Next year is SPM year weih, don't play play. ); So yeah, anyone who's going to any of the classes for form 5, please kindly leave your names and the class you'll attend in my cbox yea?
